About This Ministry
YDC is officially recognized by the Ministry of Education in Battambang, Cambodia. We are passionate about raising a new generation of confident, skilled, and purpose-driven young leaders.
Our classes are taught by experienced international teachers alongside dedicated Khmer interns, creating a learning environment that is both globally minded and deeply connected to the local community. At YDC, students don’t just learn English — they grow in confidence, discover their potential, and are equipped to make a difference in Cambodia and beyond.
Academic
YDC uses the Four Corners curriculum (1st Edition) from Cambridge University Press, offering a structured English program with four academic quarters each year while following the Khmer national holiday calendar.
Students progress through (ABC Starter)+ 12 levels of English training, building their skills step by step. Upon successfully completing and passing all twleve levels, students receive a government-recognized certificate.

ABC Starter
Learn to read all 26 English letters, spell daily words and easy conversations.
12 Levels
The learning progresses as the level proceeds, from A1-B2.

INternship and volunteering
YDC offers opportunities for interns and volunteers to learn and serve through teaching English, mentoring students, and being part of a cross-cultural team. Using a structured curriculum, volunteers are equipped and supported as they step into meaningful roles that impact students’ lives.
Internship in YDC
Minimum 3 months periods, 4 quarters per year, 13 classes to choose from.
English education is applied more magnificently in teaching, we believe all intern teacher can improve on their speaking and teaching skill in a real classroom.
