Community Light Church(CLC) is more than a Sunday gathering. Across Battambang, people gather in homes and villages to worship, pray, study Scripture, and grow together in community.
In this world, many people are searching for hope, love, and purpose in life. God has called us to be the light and the salt in every sphere of society.
Our church vision is: “Planting healthy churches that influence every sphere of society” (Matthew 28:19-20). We believe that our church is more than a place for worship, but a place where people encounter God, receive transformation, and live with a true sense of purpose.
To achieve this, we focus on three core pillars:

Join
We want everyone to feel welcomed and to know they are part of God’s family. No matter where you come from or what you are going through, you are precious to God. (Romans 15:7)
Grow
We want people to do more just believe in Jesus; we want them to grow in faith, character, and a deep knowledge of God. We believe that a transformed life can, in turn, transform families and society. (Ephesians 4:15)
Serve
We are called to love and serve others just as Jesus served us. We believe that through service, God’s love brings a positive influence to our nation. (Mark 10:45)

It is not a program we complete, it is a journey we walk together. We believe every person is created with purpose, and no one is meant to grow alone. Through community, prayer, worship, and intentional relationships, we help people take simple but meaningful steps toward knowing God more deeply and living out their faith in everyday life. Through small groups, kids program, and local leadership development, we desire to see villages strengthened from within. We raise and train local church workers. Our vision is to plant healthy churches and raise disciples who will continue reaching others.

Our church is focused on discipleship, community, and church multiplication. We desire to see people grow in their relationship with God, build meaningful relationships, and help bring hope to villages and communities through small groups and local churches.
Not at all. Everyone is welcome, whether you have followed Jesus for many years, are exploring faith for the first time, or simply want to learn more about our community.
We start at 9am. You can expect a welcoming and relaxed environment with worship, prayer, lessons from the Christian Bible, and opportunities to connect with others. We value authenticity, community, and growing together in love.
At 1pm on Sunday, church staff and volunteers will go to villages to church plant.
Small groups are gatherings that meet in homes or communities throughout the week. They are a place to build friendships, pray together, study Scripture, encourage one another, and grow in everyday life together.
Yes. Our church works alongside the ministry vision of YWAM Battambang, sharing a heart for discipleship, missions, leadership development, and community transformation.
Yes. There are opportunities to serve in worship, media, outreach, discipleship, youth ministry, hospitality, teaching, and community support. We believe everyone has gifts and strengths that can bless others.
